Who can Join?
Any undergrad at UC Davis is welcome to audition for our program! Mock trial is not limited to any specific major or experience level. We currently have a range of majors on our team, including political science, physiology, cognitive science,
environmental science, and economics. While we encourage everyone to try out regardless of mock trial experience, please keep in mind the time commitment of being a member. We practice a minimum of 8 hours each week and we travel for tournaments on many weekends throughout the quarter.
How Do I Join?
Our informational session for the 2023-2024 season is usually held at the beginning of Fall Quarter. At this meeting, we answer any questions on the audition process, regular season, cost of participation, and competition schedule. Follow our social media for updates on the information sessions, audition dates and materials, and so much more about getting involved with Mock Trial at UC Davis!
What if I Missed Fall Auditions?
If you missed our fall auditions and still would like to participate in Mock Trial at UC Davis, then you're in luck! We also have a spring program that offers a perfect introduction into the mock trial program. The spring season is not competitive, meaning we do not attend invitationals, but we do compete with each other. If you are not sure if mock trial is for you then our spring season is a great opportunity to test it out. We will also teach you the foundational knowledge of mock trial so you will have a head start for auditions in the fall. Updates will be posted on this website and our social media starting in April, 2024! Stay tuned!
